Quote Conversation #3
Yes, what is love. It's what makes the game become a falcon, the falcon become a man, and man, in his turn, the desert.(pg.145)
My thoughts on this statement is that Santiago now understands what love really is and how to turn himself into the wind. Now after his experiences in the real world and the challenging desert, that he knows what love really is a very powerful force that affects the world.

Omens and Symbols
"If at least not used, the next time they might not function. If at least one of them hasn't been used by the end of the day tomorrow, one will be used on you.
I think this is important to Santiago because who would want to get killed for not doing something you were told to do? Why would you get something done to you if you didn't do what that person told you to do?
